Brief
Replace the existing rear extension to enhance the home’s aesthetics, functionality, and connection to the garden, while converting the existing garage into a flexible living space and introducing a compact standalone annex to provide high-quality ancillary accommodation for a family member.
Solution
A rear extension that creates a light-filled living space with a strong connection to the garden, achieved through full-height glazing and seamless access to the terrace/ outdoor kitchen. A new annex is sensitively positioned within the garden to maximise views across the surrounding landscape while maintaining privacy and preserving the openness of the site. Designed as a compact and functional retreat, it incorporates flexible built-in furniture and natural timber cladding to blend harmoniously with the landscaped setting.
